Big thanks to Jarand Boge, Bjørn Christiansen and Bjørn Tore Økland for turning up and having their faces covered in toxic paints

National Competition and Winterbreak :)
Tomorrow I am going on holiday in Tromsø visiting Julius untill Monday, really looking forward to it. Sadly it clashed a bit with Oslo Fashion Week, but having the choice I’d make the same one again. (Oh and Im really upset I miss out on Photohistory and Phototheory…… yeah… right)
Besides that, the last 2 days have been spent watching the live feed of Landskonkurransen (national photography competition) and am very happy with results so far.
3 Honorable mentions, 1 of which has gone on to be judged again for the medals.
The images I sent in where these of Trine Eide:
Sadly I didn’t send this version in but one that had a bit too much red in it, this one was fixed a day or two after the deadline. 65 points
76 points (with possibility of going higher… so hopefully Kenneth Linge is able to convince the rest of the judges to go up to the 86 he originally wanted :P)
More info on these pictures has been discussed earlier, just search for Trine up in the search box to find them.
Tine Products – A small taster
A couple of the images for the product shoot of Tine Meieri products. Importance of the shoot was to represent color, size and shape properly, on a grey background.
Setup is quite simple. One large metal sheet that is curved up against a folded up ping-pong table, one sotbox behind the table pointing down behind the product (this is used to change the intensity of the grey color (more light, lighter grey), a softbox camera left, 45-45 about, to light up the left side of the carton. Lastly, a white piece of styrofoam on the right, just of camera to reflect some light back on the side of the carton, reducing the shadows.
