Björn Borg – OFW Fall 2010 – S/S 2011

Images from the somewhat scantily clad Björn Borg collection. It was pretty much as expected… underwear and lots of color…

I got a new hatred of mobile phone cameras after this… as someone kept waving their phone up in the air to film and to take pictures…  cuz yes… when you are in the front row you have soooooo many people in the way…

Armando Santos – Oslo Fashion Week – August 2010 – S/S 2011 –

Last show I covered at Oslo Fashion Week was Armando Santos at Galleri Format. It was a bit different from the standard runwayshows in that the audience was a lot closer and the models moved really slowly, giving a more tranquil feel than the rest of the weeks shows.

Contact me for a quote if you want to use the images.

OFW S/S 2011 – Wednesday August 18th – Part 1

Yesterday I started my short week here in Oslo at Oslo Fashion Week, covering both backstage and runway for Runway Passport.

Bjørn Christiansen (photographer), Tina Larsen (hair and make-up) and Marte (blogger) and myself took the trip from Trondheim down to Oslo on tuesday, playing lots of games to pass the time during the long drive southwards.

Yesterday was our first day at the shows, Bjørn got to cover Fam Irvoll’s collections (both of them) and Venti Uno, head over to his blog to see images from the runway. Also head over to Tina Larsen and Marte’s blog soon for their story and views.

I started the day at 15:00 with runway for Springbrett, a competition for new designers (images above).

OFW S/S 2011 – Wednesday August 18th – Part 2

Springbrett was followed by a quick trip backstage for White Baron, and lunch, before heading backstage again for the show itself.

Lastly I got to go to Galleri Riis on Tjuvholmen for Batlak and Selvig. Since I had a lot of sparetime between the White Baron show and Batlak and Selvig, I made my way over early to get a good spot and some time to rest… walked in, and surprised the designers as they were preparing their little show… a show without models, just manikins, and a path around them for people to walk along. I was sworn to secrecy but was allowed to snap the first photos of the collection, they were still painting a couple of the manikins as I got there.

I dare say these are some of the only photos from the show without people walking about in the background.
