Some pictures from the food photography course. I went to To Rom og Kjøkken and am fairly pleased with the results.
Better lighting for the food pictures would have been preferable, but you work with what you get.
Here is a short behind the scenes video of the photoshoots for the magazine. Thanks to Erik Drabløs who edited it together.
It’s been a while since I updated my blog, this can be explained mostly by school projects not having been the type of photography that inspires me as well as being busy with other things.
We had another course with Jan Christian Sørli this time on how to make photoshop composits.
We started off learning some basics, setting us up to do some simple mistakes so that we would learn not to do them again.
We finished off the course with having to make an alcohol commercial, since alcohol bottles tend to be better looking than soda and water bottles… and since Norway is very possibly allowing alcohol commercials again (due to EU regulations).
Here is the “final” result and a quick video showing how its built up.
I do plan on fixing some of the small mistakes that I didnt have time and pictures to do. Adding a more realistic “into the water” bit, getting rid of the splashes a bit/replacing them with some taken in more correct light, as well as getting som more waves in there.
